Registration:
Financial Professional (FP Portal) Login:
  • If you are unable to login to the Financial Professional Portal and receive a “Not authorized” error, follow steps below:
    Please access the Service Online (SOL) using the URL: https://annuityfpservice.prudential.com. If you are able to access SOL successfully then please move to Step 2:

    Step 1. If you are unable to login to SOL, then please contact the Annuity Service Center at 888-778-2888 to verify if your account is locked. Once the Customer Service Representative provides you a temporary password, clear your cookies, close your browsers, then re-launch browser and begin step 2 below.

    If password is not locked, please proceed with step 2.
    Step 2. Use the URL: https://annuityfpservice.prudential.com/registration/myprofile/fplogin.do
    Step 3. Enter your Username/password
    Step 4. You will be directed to supply the access code ("success")
    Step 5. After entering the access code, you will be redirected to the FP Portal.
    Step 6. Although you should have access to the FP Portal at this point, your profile may not be updated. You should log out by clicking the Logout Link. You can enter the site after 30 minutes and your profile should be updated.

    Note: If you do not complete this step, your profile will be updated by the next time you log on.

    Delete cookies and log into a new session after password reset.

  • If you are already registered in SOL, but are unable to log into the Financial Professional Portal see below:
    If user is registered as Affiliated/Appointed Financial Professional in the Financial Professional Portal, use below URL:

    www.prudentialannuities.com ->click Financial Professionals Enter Here as highlighted in below screenshot.

    If user is registered in Service Online, use below URL:

Home Page Discrepancies:
  • Why is Service Online YTD Assets Under Management showing $0.00?
    A. If withdrawals are more than sales, the number will be $0.00.
  • Why is Service Online displaying an incorrect Net Year to Date Sales?
    A. The Net Year to Date Sales does not include sales for the current month.
  • Why is an incorrect firm name displaying in the Financial Professional Portal?
    A. You will need to select the correct Broker Dealer firm name from Account View. Click Account view ->Select the firm to view for this session->click Go


New Business:
  • How long will my newly issued contracts appear on the New Business Tab in Service Online?
    A. Contracts will be displayed in new business for 15 days from issue date.


How to register your Financial Professional Assistant (FPA):
    There are two steps of registration for FPAs:

    Action Step 1:
    a) The Financial Professional (FP) has to initiate the FPA registration process. As part of this initiation process, the FP sends registration instructions email to the FPA from Service Online (SOL). This email consists of a link by which user can register as a Guest.

    b) The FPA clicks on the guest registration link (they receive an email) and registers himself/herself as a guest.
    c) The FPA provides his/her Username and email address (with which he/she completed the guest registration) to the FP.
    d) The FP enters the username and email address of the user in the SOL screen and gives the permission (Inquiry only or Inquiry and transactions) to the FPA to access his/her block of business
    e) Then SOL sends an email to user stating that "You have been invited to complete the SOL Registration in order to access your FP's block of business". The email also contains the FP's name, FP's Firm name and the link to complete the registration process.
    f) Then the FPA proceeds to Step 2.

    Action Step 2:
    a) After receiving the email, the FPA clicks on the link to complete the registration process. The FPA clicks on the link to complete the Step 2 of the registration process by inputting his/her SSN and DOB
    b) After entering their SSN and DOB the FPA clicks on "Submit" button. A confirmation page will display. This page confirms the completion of the FPA Registration.
How to register your Edward Jones Branch Office Administrator (BOA):
    There are two steps of registration for BOAs:

    Action Step 1:
    a) The Financial Advisor (FA) will click my Preference link in Service Online and enters the Branch Office Administrator’s last name in ‘Search by Assistant Last Name’ option.


    b) The list of BOAs who meets the search condition (Search by Assistant Last name) will be displayed in search results.
    c) FA selects the BOA from the search results and gives permission (Inquiry only or Inquiry and transactions) to BOA to access his/her block of business and clicks submit.
    d) SOL sends an email informing them of the association created by FA.

    Action Step 2:
    a) After receiving the email, the BOA will click on the link to complete registration process by inputting his/her SSN and DOB.
    b) After entering SSN and DOB the BOA clicks on "Submit" button. A confirmation page is displayed which confirms the completion of the BOA Registration process.
Internet Explorer Browser Issues:
  • Troubleshooting issues on Internet Explorer (IE):
    All Internet Explorer browsers must be closed, then launch a new browser once you have closed them all. Then follow the steps below (Instructions may vary based on the version of IE you have).

    Step 1: On the menu bar at the top, click Tools -> Internet Options.
    Step 2: In the resulting dialog box, check the box ‘Delete browser history on exit’ and click on Delete button.
    Step 3: In the Delete Browsing History dialog box, ensure the top four boxes are selected. The remaining boxes can be checked or unchecked.
    Step 4: At the bottom, click Delete.
    Step 5: Click OK on Internet options box.
    Step 6: Close your browser, and then launch Internet Explorer again.
    Step 7: Choose File ->New Session.
    Step 8: Then type in the URL in the new browser session. Do not use a “Favorite” link.

    If user is registered as Affiliated/Appointed Financial Professional in the Financial Professional Portal, use appropriate URL below:
